An original plate inspired by the Disney Studios musical masterpiece “Fantasia” (1940). Featuring a stunning plate with a metal serving rim around the edge and a floral pattern titled “Autumn Ballet,” designed by iconic Disney Studio artist, Gyo Fujikawa. The dishware was released in 1940 by well known American ceramic company Vernon Kilns, and bares their stamp and copyright on the bottom of the plate. Vernon Kilns utilized the talents of the Disney Studio artists to ensure their dishware captured the immaculate beauty of the film. Measuring 12"x9.75" and 1" thick, the plate is in very good condition.
