A production cel from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series Jonny Quest. Featuring Chopper the poacher, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled "Attack of the Tree People," which aired on January 21, 1965. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6"x12", the cel is in very good condition with minimal surface wear, some cel edge wear, the cel layers stapled together at the bottom, a cel tear on left side, and a hole in both cel layers on the left side. The cel has been paired with a color copy reproduction background for display purposes.
