A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Pyro throwing flames at Cable, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 13:39 in the season one episode "The Cure." Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 5.5”x5.25", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear including scratches, light black line fade, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
